We continue to receive reports of van break ins across the district, where locks are being drilled and tools being stolen. CRIME ALERTS Burglary 19/11 - Bowmans Close, Steyning (between 10pm and 5am) Car has been stolen after the informants bag had been stolen which contained the vehicle's keys. 19/11 - Smith Barn, Horsham (approx.9pm) Garage has been broken into and two Amazon parcels have been stolen. Crime prevention advice for your members can be found here https://www.securedbydesign.com/guidance/crime-prevention-advice Vehicle Crime 10/11 - Weald Close, Horsham, RH13 6HE (approx. 1.15am) Person has been seen trying car doors when the vehicle has been parked on the driveway. 10/11 - Cook Road, Horsham, RH12 5GG (approx. 10pm) Individual has been seen on a camera doorbell trying a car door which was parked on the driveway. Being unsuccessful, they tried a van at a neighbouring property. 10/11 - Erica Way, Horsham, RH12 5XL (between 11am and 1am) Vehicle has been broken into and searched. The door was not forced open and nothing has been stolen. 12/11 - The Hollow, West Chiltington (approx.1pm) Motorcycle has been stolen from a pub car car park. 14/11 - Paget Close, Horsham, RH13 6HD (approx 12am) Small amount of cash has been stolen from a car after a messy search of the vehicle was carried out. Vehicle was unlocked and no damage was found. 14/11 - Weald Close, Horsham RH13 6HE (between 12am and 4am) Car has been broken into and a messy search carried out, although nothing has been stolen. 15/11 - Wisborough Lane, Storrington (approx 9.30am) Van has been broken into whilst parked on the informants driveway, side door drilled and tools stolen. 15/11 - Brighton Road, Horsham (between 1pm and 5.30am) Van has been broken into via the the side door, which has been damaged. There has been no suggestion that anything has been stolen. 17/11 - Curbey Close, West Chiltington Moped has been stolen. 17/11 - Fairbank Road, Southwater (between 3pm and 6.45am) Car has been broken into where a messy search has been carried out and an old bank card has been stolen. 20/11 - Cootes Avenue, Horsham RH12 2AH (between 7pm and 6am) Car has been broken into and £100 has been stolen from the vehicle. 20/11 - Vale Drive, Horsham, RH12 2JX Vehicle has been broken into, no damage caused and nothing stolen.
